Watch: Charlemagne Tha God Claims Diddy Gay Rumors Started with Wendy Williams - and Diddy Got Her Fired for It

Charlamagne Tha God threw a new wrinkle into the gay groping and sexual harassment accusations swirling around rapper Sean Combs, known by his stage name Diddy, saying that the "gay" rumors started in the '90s thanks to Wendy Williams.

"On a new episode of the Flagrant podcast with Andrew Schulz, Charlamagne recalled Williams questioning the Bad Boy Records founder's sexuality as far back as the 90s," reported Hot New Hip Hop. "He alleges that ultimately, it's what cost the beloved host her job at Hot 97."

"Wendy's whole thing was 'Diddy was gay' since the '90s," the site quoted Charlamagne as saying on the podcast. "That's why Wendy got fired from Hot 97. Wendy got fired from Hot 97 by Diddy," the rapper reiterated. "Cuz that's when Bad Boy was smoking hot, and yeah, she got fired for putting that out there."

Charlamagne also spoke to rumors that Diddy and "Family Matters" actor Reginald VelJohnson had been sexually involved. That "claim was first brought up in April by the comedian Luce Cannon during his appearance on an episode of the Drinx with Jinx podcast," Sportskeeda recalled.

"Luce claimed to have accidentally caught the 'Family Matters' actor in an intimate position with Diddy."

In February, music producer Rodney Jones filed suit against Diddy, claiming Diddy had sexually groped and harassed him, had drugged him, and had pushed him to have sex with sex workers.

Diddy's reps strenuously denied the allegations.

Other accusations came from a woman Diddy had been romantically linked to, singer Cassie, who claimed that Diddy had beaten and otherwise abused her over a span of more than 10 years.
