Man Nabbed by NYPD for Stealing Over $300 Worth of Magnum Condoms

Apparently the only thing "petit" about this guy was the larceny charge he was slapped with.

New York City Police nabbed an enthusiastic shoplifter last week who was caught trying to swipe 16 boxes of Magnum condoms and a bottle of Naked Juice. DNAInfo reports.

The failed heist occurred at a Duane Reade Drug Store on West 23rd Street and Eighth Avenue in the heart of Chelsea on Saturday of Pride Weekend around 7:55 a.m.

All in all, the stolen goods were worth close to $350 ($338 for the condoms, $4 for the Naked Juice plus tax).

The 25-year-old culprit was arrested by police and charged with petit larceny.

Asked by DNAInfo about the frequency of crimes like these, an employee of the store said they happen "all the time."
