Watch: Oops! 'Fire Island' Star Matt Rogers Fell Down the Stairs While 'A Thousand Shirtless Gay Men' Looked On

"Fire Island" and "No Good Deed" star Matt Rogers stopped by "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and shared the story of how he spent his New Year's Eve... including taking a tumble down the stairs at a circuit party in Miami.

Asked "How are you?" by Meyers, Rogers answered, "I'm really good." Then: "I could be better. I went to Miami for New Year's, which sounds fun, like, in its own little sentence."

"Yeah, the beginning of that is the beginning of a fun story," Meyers said.

More fun than expected: "Yeah," Rogers said, "I absolutely plummeted down the stairs at a gay circuit party."

"Okay," Meyers said. Then, as the audience tittered, Meyers followed up with: "Can I ask you a question? What's a 'gay circuit party?'"

"I'm unhappy you asked," a grinning Rogers responded, "because now I have to say what it is!"

"You could have just said a party," Meyers pointed out.

Of course, what fun would that be?

Rogers sought to explain. "You know, it's sort of like, it's gays on the circuit. Imagine, like, a thousand shirtless gay men – "

"Done!" Meyers cried with zeal.

"Yeah, great!" Rogers said, as the audience laughed. Rogers pointed out at the audience. "Are you guys good?" he asked, to cheers. "You guys got it?" Turning back to Meyers, he said, "The whole audience is shirtless gay men, by the way. This is amazing! You've got a circuit party here!"

"We're not gonna cut to them," Meyers riffed, "but yeah."

"It's not really my scene," Rogers resumed, talking about the Miami circuit party, "but I had a couple of drinks and it became my scene."

And then he made a scene.

"I went to, like, descend some stairs to sort of join the fray," Rogers described, "and the stairs were wet. It was not my fault! The stairs were wet."

It was a bumpy ride. "I hit, like, each of the steps," Rogers recounted.

Meyers theorized that attendees of the event might have guessed that "This might not be his scene."

"I'm so thankful it was full of other gay idiots doing things," Rogers said of the party, "because they were so distracted by each other that no one saw the bleach-blond idiot tumbling down the stairs."

"But I bruised my tailbone. This is very uncomfortable," Rogers added, gesturing to himself sitting in the chair near Meyers' desk. "I look comfortable; I'm not."

Rogers shared how he was coping with the aftermath. "The drug I'm on now – this is different than the gay circuit party – is Tylenol Extra Strength," the "Los Culturistas" podcast host shared. "I love the stuff."
