Rachael Ray Thought Husband John Cusimano Was Gay - Then 'Couldn't Wait to Get Him in the Sack!'

Celebrity chef Rachael Ray thought John Cusimano was gay when she first met him, and tried to get him together with a gay friend. When Cusimano clarified that he's straight, everything changed – and now the two are happily wed and are creative partners.

Ray recounted the story on the "Tuesday, January 7, episode of Tommy DiDario's 'I've Never Said This Before' podcast," Us Magazine detailed.

"The first time I saw my husband, I thought he was gay and I tried to set him up on a date with a male friend of mine," Us quoted Ray saying on the podcast. "And he said, 'But I am not gay.'"

"Then I was like, 'Check, please,' and I couldn't wait to get him in the sack," Ray said, before adding that Cusimano "is a very blessed man."

In what way? Ray put it like this:

"I had to buy two different sized suits for our wedding from Prada because his jacket was one size and his trouser was another."

Ray went on to say, "I am a very lucky lady."

The two are passionate outside the boudoir as well; Ray disclosed on a different podcast appearance last fall that she and Cusimano "have huge screaming matches all the time," though, she added, "I think that's healthy. I really do. And I don't trust people that are too quiet."

It's part of the territory when it comes to creative types, she suggested. "It's very hard, especially for hot-tempered or creative or vociferous loud people to be able to just calm it down," Ray mused. "John and I don't calm it down ever."
