Northalsted Market Days 2024 Lineup!

The Northalsted Business Alliance is excited to announce the return of Northalsted Market Days®, a celebration of community, diversity and culture, to the vibrant streets of Northalsted between Addison and Belmont. Scheduled for August 10 - 11 2024, Market Days promises to deliver another unforgettable weekend of music, entertainment, and celebration.

Northalsted Market Days 2024 will showcase a diverse array of musical talents across multiple stages, catering to a wide range of tastes. Billy Porter, Big Freedia, Alyssa Edwards, RaiNao, Dragonette, and Lauren Sanderson are among this year's headliners.

From national artists to local bands, drag shows, and international DJ's, the lineup promises something for everyone. The lineup also includes nostalgic and tribute bands such as Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute!, Fearless: A Tribute to Taylor (an homage to our lady of the year), Sixteen Candles, and Radio Gaga (a Queen & Lady Gaga mashup duo). Attendees can indulge in treats, drinks and food from local vendors offering everything from gourmet bites to classic festival fare.

This festival has been an integral part of Chicago's cultural tapestry, drawing crowds from near and far to experience the unique spirit of Northalsted, the historical center of Chicago's LGBTQ+ community. This year's event will continue that tradition with an exceptional lineup of live performances, over 300 vendors, including local food and drinks, artisans, merchants and nonprofits.

Northalsted Market Days' five stages include the Nissan Partners of Progress Stage at Roscoe featuring local favorites and more. The South Stage at Belmont, showcasing Chicago drag performers and curated queer artists by producers Peach Presents and Back Lot Bash. The dance focused ViiV Healthcare's Hydrate Dance Stage brings international DJ's to a nightclub on the street including Nina Flowers, DJs Oscar Velazquez, DJ Deanne, DJ Seth Breezy and Nick Stracener, as well as drag performances, dancers and non-stop energy. This will be Market Day's 2nd year featuring the Aldine Dance Stage where you can find many of your favorite resident DJs from Northalsted venues such as Splash, Sidetrack, Progress and more.

The event is organized by the Northalsted Business Alliance chamber of commerce. A $20 suggested donation at entry helps pay performers, event workers, and funds community programs.
Advance online donations of $50 are again encouraged, for which attendees will receive a commemorative "VIP" Market Days wristband providing more convenient in/out access to the festival on both days.
