Jamie Lee Curtis told Jimmy Kimmel during a March 22 appearance on his late night talk show that she'll be officiating the wedding of her transgender daughter, Ruby.

And she'll be wearing a cosplay costume while she does it, as will everyone else taking part.

"The actress, 63, shared on Tuesday's episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' that she would be donning the garb of 'World of Warcraft''s Jaina Proudmoore for her daughter Ruby's upcoming 'cosplay wedding,'" People Magazine reported.

"Everybody at the wedding is going to be in costume and I will be in a costume to officiate the wedding," Curtis explained, adding that she found the outfit on Etsy. But, People Magazine said, "The seller is in Russia, so she hopes to still be able to get it in time for Ruby's wedding in May."

"We're gonna have a beautiful picnic in the backyard," Curtis, who currently stars with Michelle Yeoh in the film "Everything Everywhere at Once," enthused.

Referencing the nuptials of older daughter Annie, Curtis added: "Both my children will have been married in my backyard, which brings me to tears."

Curtis doesn't just officiate at the weddings of her own children; she's done weddings for others, as well. "I am available," she told Kimmel jokingly.

Curtis had revealed last year that she would be officiating at Ruby's wedding. At the same time, the "Halloween" actress gave voice to her full love and support for Ruby, describing her "wonder and pride" at witnessing her youngest child transition and take on a new name.

"Our son became our daughter Ruby," she shared in an interview with AARP magazine.

The actor made the revelation with Ruby's permission.

Ruby herself made the decision to step into the spotlight and share more of her story.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last year, Ruby said she began to realize she was trans while in her teens. She made no secret about it with her fiancé, revealing years before their engagement that she was "probably trans," though she wanted to wait on telling family. When she was ready, Ruby did come out to her family.

"It was scary – just the sheer fact of telling them something about me they didn't know," Ruby recalled. "It was intimidating – but I wasn't worried. They had been so accepting of me my entire life."

In the same article, Curtis described herself as a "grateful student" of her daughter.
