Here's What Leslie Jordan had to Say After Meeting Dolly Parton

Emell Adolphus READ TIME: 1 MIN.

When actor and gay icon Leslie Jordan met fellow gay icon Dolly Parton, he died, went to "gay heaven," and, thankfully for us, came back to tell the tale. The out-of-body experience happened while Jordan was recording his album "Company's Comin," reported Page Six.

"She was all dolled up for a Christmas special, and she was like a doll baby," he remembered. "Everybody says, 'Well, what was she like?' And I say, 'Well, you know exactly what she's like.'" In a word: Everything!

"She was so tiny with that little tiny waist," Jordan told Page Six. "We know she's got those great big boobs, but she's [75]! That little, tiny waist, that voluptuous bottom – she's something to look at, she's something to talk to. She was just everything."

Beyond taking in her awe-inspiring appearance, Jordan also got a chance to see how the music legend creates magic in the studio for their song together, "Where the Soul Never Dies."

Jordan's album, released on April 2, 2021, is his take on "classic gospel hymns" and includes an impressive list of music guest starts, including Tanya Tucker, Brandi Carlile, Eddie Vedder and TJ Osborne.

Coming from Jordan, who grew up in the church as a native of Tennessee and recently found social media fame as an Instagram sensation, the album is sure to be flamboyant and fun.

Listen to his song with Parton below and tell us what you think.
