READ TIME: 1 MIN.

Well, this is probably going to be the most adorable thing you see today.

Country singer Steve Grand made good on his promise and took a gay Marine to the 2015 Marine Corps Ball this week, the Huffington Post reports.

Grand, who made headlines in 2013 for coming out as gay, accepted Tanner White's invitation to the event in September via YouTube. On Nov. 10, Grand, 25, and White were linked arm-and-arm at the dance, which was held in Wilmington, N.C.

Grand is the latest celebrity to accept a service member's video proposal to attend a ball. HuffPo points out Justin Timberlake, Mila Kunis and Kim Kardashian have also been dates of military members in the past.

White, who describes himself as "your favorite [HIV] positive Marine," has a YouTube channel where he discusses the importance of HIV/AIDS prevention. Towleroad reports White is the first gay service member to have asked a celebrity to attend the ball via YouTube.

When Grand accepted the e-invite, he said he would be "honored" to be White's date.
