It's been a big week for "American Horror Story: Freak Show" fans!

Just before Wednesday's episode aired, "Edward Mordrake Part 2," some pretty big details about the Emmy Award-winning show surfaced.

First up: Neil Patrick Harris, who's had a big month for himself after revealing he'll host the upcoming Academy Awards and is going to host an upcoming NBC variety show, was supposed to be on Season One of "AHS" with his boo David Burkta. But the couple rejected the offer, which ended up being played by Zach Quinto and Teddy Sears, saying he passed because the roles were too similar to their cameos in "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas" in 2011, Entertainment Weekly points out.

But, according to TV Line, Harris and Burtka will appear in season four of the anthology series, though not much is known about Harris' character besides that he will play a salesman with secrets and he will be in the last few episodes of the season. His husband, however, will be in the show's finale for a "sexy storyline" with Jessica Lange's character, Elsa Mars.

That's not all! EW also reports that Lily Rabe, who has been in every season except "Freak Show," will return and reprise her role as "Asylum" nun Sister Mary Eunice - the nun who was possessed by the Devil.

In a fantastic piece by Vulture, it is suggested all four seasons of "AHS" are connected, especially since Pepper, a microcephalic woman who was abducted by aliens in "Asylum," is also in "Freak Show."
