CANCUN, Mexico - The leading marketing event in Latin America specifically focused on the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) market is to take place from September 6 - 9, 2012 in Cancun, Mexico.

Mr. Ruben Sandoval, President of the International Expo & Business LGBT, said that he was delighted to bring this industry-leading marketing event to the city of Cancun. "The International Expo & Business LGBT has now established itself as the leading event focused on LGBT marketing development in Latin America" Mr. Sandoval said.

"Last year we exceeded initial expectations in our first event in Puerto Vallarta and this year in Cancun our sponsors, exhibitors and delegates will all benefit from several new enhancements in our program".

One factor Mr. Sandoval announced was the introduction of a Business-to-Consumer expo event that will take place on the last day of the trade show. "All our participants are focused on getting the best blend of LGBT market education and business development in place, so it is a logical extension of that concept to open our event to the public on our final day - and we expect large numbers of the Cancun LGBT community will join us at the Expo in September".

In announcing details for the 2012 event, Mr. Sandoval was pleased to announce several sponsors of the Expo. "The Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau (Cancun OVC) is our official partner, the Hyatt Regency is our host hotel and the world's leading LGBT marketing agency - Out Now Global - is our Premier Sponsor," Mr. Sandoval said.

Promotions Director at OVC Cancun, Mr. Jorge Tellez, said the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Cancun (OVC) was delighted to be selected as the Host City for this year's International Business and Expo LGBT.

"Cancun is Mexico's most popular tourism destination with the LGBT market, and we make every effort to improve and enhance our products and service to this very important market," Mr. Tellez said. "We will be working with all delegates, exhibitors, sponsors and LGBT visitors to this event to ensure that this is a valuable and worthwhile experience to all attending".

CEO of Out Now Global, Ian Johnson, said his agency was delighted to support the event. "In 2012, Out Now celebrates 20 years of defining the 'next level' in LGBT marketing, and we are most honored to be the Premier Sponsor of this most significant LGBT marketing event in the Latin American region," Johnson said.

"We respect greatly the commitment and care taken by the organizers and are confident that this event will represent a new benchmark in the ongoing development of LGBT marketing right across the Latin American region. Out Now consistently strives to make sure that the needs of LGBT people, no matter where they live, become better understood - and met - by the organizations that serve them".
