Watch Nicki Minaj's New Video for 'Stupid Hoe'

Over the weekend hip-hop diva Nicki Minaj debuted the music video for her latest single, "Stupid Hoe." The colorful, sexy and expressional video feels like "Super Bass'" little brother except Minaj 100 times more carefree and wild.

The video, directed by Hype Williams, opens up with bursts of sharp color, girls playing jump rope, and Minaj posing like the infamous Grace Jones.

Although the song sounds and looks more like Eve's "Tambourine" (thanks to the infectious whistles, handclaps and loops) than anything Jones has done, it is still extremely enjoyable. The rapper is having fun and not taking herself too seriously, which is refreshing. Minaj spits fire just as well as she has in the past and looks completely ridiculous as she's covered in outlandish makeup similar to a Ganguro girl.

During the video we find Minaj trapped in a banana-yellow color cage and morphing into a tiger. Later on, she becomes a freaky "doll" with enlarged eyes and is standing on a giant red chair while holding a rainbow lollipop. And of course, this would not be a Nicki Minaj video without any booty popping; so yes, there is plenty of that.

The song finishes up with a Calypso-style breakdown and Minaj proclaiming that she is the female Weezy (but I'm not so sure if I can get behind that).

Minaj's second LP, "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" will be in stores on April 3. Watch the video for its single, "Stupid Hoe" below:
