It's Pride season and love also seems to be in the air between two of our most beloved LGBTQ superstars.

As reported by Page Six, Lena Waithe and Cynthia Erivo were seen holding hands while entering the auditorium for the Alvin Ailey Spirit Gala at the Lincoln Center in New York City.

The pair reportedly arrived together but walked the red carpet separately. Sneaky! But Page Six caught them on video being coupled up.

The sighting news might confirm long-running rumors swirling that the two are dating, but they have never acknowledged a relationship. But publicly, there has been plenty of love and appreciation for each other.

When Waithe and Erivo reportedly first met in May 2018, Enrivo posted a photo to her instagram with the caption: "I finally found my sis. Lena you are absolutely everything. You are perfection. What a meeting of minds, glad to have you in my life! Stuck like glue!!! SHINE QUEEN SHINE!!"

Since then the Chicago native and the British actress have walked the same red carpets and were recently spotted sitting together at last weekend's Tony's.

Fast friends, Waithe famously phoned Erivo for help during her appearance on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire."

This year, Erivo also dedicated a birthday post to Waithe in May, writing: "Today is when we celebrate a woman whose heart is bigger than the body that houses it. Happy birthday @lenawaithe I ....... You know the rest! ????????"

After Waithe married movie executive Alana Mayo in November 2019, the pair reportedly split after only two months of marriage and filed for a divorce a year later.

In a joint statement, the pair said: "After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways. We have nothing but support for one another and ask that you respect our privacy during this time."

Meanwhile, Erivo was previously romantically linked to British singer Dean John-Wilson and actor Mario Martinez.

Waithe became the first black woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in 2017 for her work on "Master of None."

Erivo starred in the Broadway play "The Color Purple" from 2015 to 2017 and portrayed Harriet Tubman in the 2019 biopic "Harriet." Almost an EGOT, she has won an Emmy, a Grammy, a Tony and has been nominated for two Oscars.
