Vivian Kleiman's "No Straight Lines" surveys the history - so far - of queer comics, from strips drawn for local gay newspapers to the rise of graphic novels to the advent of web comics and, with that evolution, the establishment and expansion of a space in which people of all genders and sexualities can find voice and have a place to tell stories. Features Howard Cruse, Mary Wings, Rupert Kinnard, Jennifer Camper, and Alison Bechdel.

"No Straight Lines" is screening at Outfest LA
